The new route idea is Turtwig -> Golbat -> Tentacruel. Turtwig can get the best Roark times of any starter, Golbat can be caught at Lv10 right after Roark. You main Golbat until you are about to enter Canalave, at which point you catch a Lv40 Tentacruel. I'm routing/timing the Golbat section to check feasibility in comparison to Piplup/Chimchar. This route is very WIP and there is no guarantee it'll actually work out.
