It was indeed Nick. He was crossing the road, and I wanted to run and hug him. But before I could move, a truck came by and smushed Nick. I ran to him, and he was barely alive. Luckily, an old friend from the local uni's engineering department was nearby, and he and his students started working to save Nick. So now I have a Robot Nick
